מחקרה של ויניצקי-סרוסי מתמקד בתחום של זיכרון קולקטיבי והנצחה. ויניצקי-סרוסי פיתחה מודל תאורטי המסביר את התפתחותם של אופני הנצחה שונים בחברות המתמודדות עם קונפליקטים.
