DessertLand is the space between two source of light

DessertLand, 2008, 8 min single channel video animation.
DessertLand is the space between two source of light; the commander’s projector and the the moon light. The viewers are sitting with Shvil in the back of a command-car driving along the border of Israel. This movement from left to right is like a visual text of history that is being revealed by means of light while moving along a linear border-line. The lights are illuminating the deferent parts of a deserted landscape that exist along the fence line, separating what is inside and interior and what is outside and exterior.
